1st Annual UCHealth Cerebrovascular and Stroke Symposium

On September 16th, nearly 70 first responders, nurses, advanced practice providers, and physicians gathered at the Cheyenne Mountain Conference Center for the 1st Annual Neurovascular and Stroke Symposium.  The educational conference was the brainchild of Dr. Shaye Moskowitz, a Vascular and Endovascular Neurosurgeon who came to UCHealth a year ago from Miami where he ran a similar conference.  Neuro Service Line Director Pam Elser and her staff coordinated a full day of sessions including acute stroke care, cerebrovascular disease, and surgical management of aneurysms. The day culminated in a dinner talk with Dr. Greg Albers of the Stanford Comprehensive Stroke Center.

The day was made possible through educational grants from Medtronic, Stryker, Microvention and a number of vendors.
