Why Give?
Physicians are a vital component of the fundraising strategies of many healthcare systems. Physician giving strengthens the financial core of an institution and encourages peers to view philanthropy as an act worthy of their consideration. Additionally, they empower and motivate others in the community to give. Projects with proven support by medical staff serves as meaningful symbolic purpose to donors. Physician support sends a powerful message that they believe in the continuous outstanding medical care and the technological advances that happen at UCHealth in Southern Colorado.
I see this as an opportunity to contribute to patients wellbeing beyond what I can offer through my medical expertise. Through contributions to the foundation, I, and all of our providers can benefit patients and their families in a wide variety of ways that can greatly augment what we do for them as health care professionals.
