“This shot of Mt. Wilson near Telluride, CO took me 3 days to finally figure out what time of day the sun illuminated both Mt. Wilson and the old mining shack. Luckily, by the 3rd day I was also blessed with a snowy peak due to the previous night’s snow storm. I often hear people comment that this picture looks too perfect, and must therefore be a photoshop job. I assure you it’s real, and I worked for it. The 4-wheel drive road to reach the mining village ghost town of Alta, CO has since been vastly improved, which is a mixed blessing in my mind due to the increased traffic to Alta Lakes.”
